About

I'm Jason Golod — a founder, builder, and lifelong generalist based in Austin, Texas, where I live with my wife and our two kids.

For the better part of two decades I've started and grown online businesses, obsessed over how people find things on the internet, and enjoyed a good espresso and a competitive tennis match in roughly equal measure. golod.com has been my corner of the web the whole time.

Draft copy — tell me what to keep, cut, or say differently and I'll rewrite it in your voice.

Build in public
Ship things, share what works, be honest about what doesn't.
Long-term thinking
A couple of decades running a business teaches you patience and persistence.
Always learning
Security, marketing, code, tennis — the subject changes but the curiosity doesn't.
